Payment for a performance is $200.00 (within Abilene city limits) $300.00 (out of Abilene City limits) which is due at the end of the performance. This allows us to pay the guitar player who is not a student. Though our performance lasts around 30-45 minutes it actually takes around 4 hours of our day.
When planning your event, please keep in mind our performance requires 2 hours and 15 minutes (60 min. set up time, 45 min. performance time, and 30 min. tear down time). We request that members of our audience not be in the room that we will play in for the duration of our setup time.
We will tear down immediately following our performance, not at the end of your event; however, if you would like for us to wait to tear down at the end of your event, an additional fee of $50.00 will be added to your balance if we must wait for more than 30 minutes between the end of our performance and the beginning of our tear down.
Having us perform at the beginning or ending of your program will ensure your event will not be interrupted by the noise of setting up and/or tearing down.
Should the schedule of your event change to where our setup time, performance time and/or tear down time would be different than originally agreed to, the director of Revolution, Darcy Radcliffe, must be notified of the new times as soon as these times become official so that we do not have to wait for long periods of time at the performance venue.
Should cumulative wait time at the performance venue for Revolution be in excess of 30 minutes, an additional fee of $50.00 per half hour will be charged to your balance.
For performances outside of the Abilene city limits, a mileage fee of $2.50 per mile (both to and from the performance venue) and $ 7 per diem per person ($140 total) will be added to your balance.
Minimum performance space of at least 30 feet x 30 feet is required as well as three electrical outlets (in close proximity to the performance area) and a storage space for instrument cases and personal items that will not interfere with nor be in the way of your event.
We will be transporting heavy sound equipment and a drum set to be used during the performance. If the performance is not on the ground floor, we require an elevator (at least 3 feet by 5 feet) to transport the equipment.
Revolution is comprised of high school students. Alcoholic beverages may not be served while any Revolution member is present at the performance venue.
Revolution reserves the right to cancel this agreement if changes to the setup, performance, and/or tear down times are made less than one week prior to our performance. Full payment of $200.00(in town) or $300.00(out of town) is required if our performance is cancelled less than 36 hours prior to our performance, otherwise, payment is not required if our performance is cancelled.
